They were active in the 1990s. Along with Goldie, they founded the Metalheadz label in 1994. Drum & Bass DJ & producer duo, composed of Kemistry (aka Valerie Olukemi A. "Kemi" Olusanya) and Storm (aka Jane Conneely). Kemistry and Storm met while at college in Kettering.

However in 1994 It all began in the late 80s: KEMISTRY & STORM had had enough of their hometown in middle England and moved down to London. Until then, Birmingham-born Kemistry had spent most of her tender years studying as a make-up artist in Sheffield while Storm was studying radiology in Oxford. To celebrate 25 years of the legendary series, Kemistry and Storm DJ-Kicks is re-mastered and re-issued for the first time since it's original release in 1999 on CD and 2LP. It all began in the late 80s: Kemistry and Storm had had enough of their hometown in middle England and moved down to London.

They have a nice style, including putting a vocal track in there for some of us D&B "less in tune" listeners. Plus the cover photo is totally excellent. It is an addicting photo and a great preservation to the memory of Kemistry (Kemi Olusanya). Kemistry, of leading female drum ‘n’ bass duo Kemistry & Storm, died in a car crash in the early hours of Sunday April 25.
